this is the tour02 report from el-guapos "captain",thanx
"el
guapo stuntteam"
18.10 Darmstadt, Germany.
We arrive at the club in Darmstadt at excactly 6pm. Scummy and i
hurry our asses over to the tattoo shop for my appointment as the
rest of the guys unload the van (suckers!). At the tattoo shop we
meet our pals from Skeleton Army who made us feel at home some months
before. After an hour of intense pain and blood all over i'm the
proud owner of a brandnew tattoo, goddammit i'm gonna score with
this one! Back at the club we meet our fellow rockers in The monsters, the
band with the balls to take us along on this trip and the drinking
and festivities start! Right about show time the place is packed!
EGST opens this tour with a hot and steamy set wich leaves the audience
screaming for more. Girls faint and boys cry as they see that they
will never be as rocking as these fine young men in front of them
rocking a stage like never rocke before. Up next come the Monsters
and yes they almost blow us out of our shoes with their pure evil
189 percent primitiv rock n roll. Shit!
After their set it's all about drinking but some of us decide to
go to a birthday party at some other place and here my dear friends
is where the shit is hitting the fan! Two topless chicks dancing
on the bar almost jump straight into my arms as Mitch shows his
skills as a full developed hardcore scratcher behind the turn tables.
Oh yeah, great party! Later on we have some conversations with local
punk rockers about country music and Gregor goes toughguy on us
by kicking me in the leg! Fun! After being boozed up enough we take
a cab to the sleeping place where yours truly sleeps like a baby
in his silk sheet king size bed.
19.10 Dortmund, Germany
Waking up is terrible this morning, i wonder why? At Bauer's place
we have koffie and breakfast and join the Monsters for a viewing
of a Japanese Zombie/gangster movie. Great shit. Then the rest of
EGST arrives and after saying goodbye to the kind folks of Darmstadt
we hit the road.
The club in Dortmund is huge, a nice and richely filled backstage
and a guy, pointed out to be at service for the bands! The guys
is kinda weird tough, he looks a little like a smaller version of
Ed Kemper and he keeps looking at us like we're going to be next!
Anyways, we're save and ready to rock. Even more people as the night
before, also here alot of familiar faces, all the people from Munster
etc.
Both bands put up some great shows in front of a good 400 enthousiastic
crowd. The afterparty backstage is hilarious thanx to the drunken
chick most of us don't realy get along with so good. After Ed had
kicked us out we sleep somewhere above a bar. Hours and hours i
heard the boys partying away as some of us more "responsible"
ones trying to get some sleep. And when we finaly did, the party
continues! Next to my bed, in front of my bed...KILL!....KILL!!
20.10 Gent, Belgium
For breakfast we are joined by Elvis Pummel, one hell of a great
guy we've met some years ago when we toured with The monsters. After
this we're on our way to Belgium, this sucks, we where happy to
be away from home for a while, but no, back! We arrive at the closed
bar in the early afternoon. Seems to be we have to wait about five
hours before the owner would show up, fuck that shit! So, Mitch
is assigned to be the man for the job and first floor window he
goes in and cellar window he comes out. Not able to open the damn
bar.
Some hours later we finally get inside. Ofcourse lotsa drinking
follows and some people from back home are here, like the girlfriends
and some jerks figuring beer would be free. The show is put up by
Los Putas, a rockn roll band we're friends with and tonight will
be a change of the order the bands will play. The show is allright
but all our attention goes into the direction of Los Putas's Go-Go's,
Dammit i love go-go girls!
After the show the three bands eat at a turkish restaurant where
i find myself in the good company of go go chicks, champagne and
good food! A little later we're off headin' home for a good night
sleep in my own bed, sadly, no go gos!
